I have a 2002 Yamaha YZ250 that needs a top end and have decided to part it out. Its all there and most is good. Wheels, Radiators, plastic, frame, suspension, lower end. It's all there. I'll give it a wek here then its off to ebay. I'm located south of Fonda. 518-922-5387. Thanks

definitely worth more fixed up and sold. Even if it blew up compared to low compression, fix it. Ebays not great right now, you'd have bunch a ppl wantn it in the spring.

I will sell it all for one money if someone wants to fix it.

how much and does it need 2 b bored?

I have been asked about the engine damage. The cylinder is scored beyond fixing. The lower end is split for inspection. All that looks fine.

how much? Does it come with the bottom end back together?

how much for the plastics and sub frame?

I'd take $900 as is. I'll keep it whole for a few days in case anyone is interested in the whole thing.

got any pictures, and will the parts fit on a 2005?

Some parts will fit. Check Yamaha of Troy's parts finder to see if specific part numbers are the same. Sorry, no pictures.

if you dont sell the bike, i want the sub frame and plastics, i dont have enough money for the whole bike so ill just have to take parts

Send the cylinder to powerseal in reading PA. I had a kx 250 that i broke the piston in killed the cylinder wall. It costs 172 to get it stripped, honed, and plated. and another 50 for the welding. It deffinatly worth it and they take it to whatever piston size you want stoke or not . Their work is excellent and is something that would take the money that you get out of that bike way up...

I have not had any interest in selling the whole thing but I have had some interest in the engine, plastic, sub frame,carb, v-force red block, and now the shock. This Yamaha is getting close to having its ashes scattered about Central NY. :) I'll let parts go after Christmas.

Hans, Might take the whole bike in on trade for my 05 250F you showed interest in. Not sure what I could do though as far as a price.

I am interested in possibly buying the whole bike. Could you send me some pictures of it?
