I purchased this car a couple of months ago, but promptly realized that it was not very practical for a broke college student to be driving a V8 daily. Have since been driving a smaller car. It's a 1993 Cadillac Eldorado ETC touring coupe. The car runs and drives great. Very smooth and comfortable ride of course, as it is a Cadillac. Has just under 130,000 miles on it, and is automatic. Leather interior, power everything, sunroof, etc. It came from Texas, so the body is in very good shape, with no rust, and no real dings or dents. It has the Northstar 4.6l V8, which puts out 275 hp, but is also real good on gas for a V8 (about 24 mpg highway). Has new front ball joints and sway bar links. Also has new brakes all the way around (rotors, pads, calipers). Currently has a real leather custom made bra on it (www.carbras.com). Has 2006 Cadillac CTS wheels with good tires. Tint King 5% window tint on all windows. Recent tune-up. Also has a ton of money into the stereo system: Pioneer premier 400UB reciever: Ipod controls, over 200W, Remote controll. Eclipse Pro series: 4 way 500W 6x9's in rear + 3 way 350W 5" rounds in doors. Rockford Fosgate 800w 2 channel subwoofer amp. 2 Boston Acoustic 500W 10" subwoofers. Pro logic FIBERGLASS ported enclosure All wired with Monster wire.
Has a couple of minor issues with it, but can be driven as it is right now with no problems. One of the front struts makes some noise at times while driving. It idles a little low and fluctuates a little bit for the first 30 seconds or so after starting it cold. Runs perfectly fine after that. Its caused by the idle speed control motor. This has caused the CEL to come on. Also there is an error code for a left front wheel speed sensor continuity fault. This causes the ABS light to be illuminated. Neither of these issues effect driveability, or the inspection process. The car is a pre-1995 car, so it only has to pass OBDI tests, not OBDII. This means no emissions testing and it will easily pass inspection as it is. $2500 firm or may trade for a crotch rocket or a 125 and cash.
