I am not sure this is the best place to ask this. But i am in my second year of owning and riding a dirt bike. I recently just got a Honda CRF250R and would like to try to race this year. But i am 36 years old and have never jumped this bike or my Husqvarna. So i am worried i might not be good enough to compete. I am in great physical shape and feel pretty comfortable on my 125 husky as the Honda i got less then a month ago so have not ridden it much. Is it possible for me to race with low experience or am i just to old and trying to relive my youth? My name is Frank... any help or ideas would be great.
There is a beginner class for 250s and 450s and you dont have to do the jumps if you dont want. its all about the fun. Or the plus 30 novice class and you would be running your age group of guys. That are are in the same boat with not alot of racing experience also.So let the kid out and come play
