That's the original plastic and graphics you are seeing on the bike. This bike is all original except for the handgrips, pipe and silencer. It was always a low hour bike, but I rebuilt the motor this spring because money was no object keeping me from putting it back to 100% original running condition. The motor was taken down to the empty case halves and every bearing, seal, and gasket was replaced with new parts. The crankshaft is new and so are the piston and rings. The cylinder still has crosshatching and measures within spec in all dimensions. Suspension bearings and seals were replaced and regreased. The front shocks were rebuilt by me last season with new seals bushings and wipers. The rear shock was done at the same time by Shockaholic. I have receipts for all the parts and photos of my meticulous rebuild in progress. For these reasons, you can consider this bike to be as good as if not better than new at this point. If you know anything about the RM250 from 2003 to 2008 you know that the 2003 model had the hardest hitting midrange and top end, and after 2004 through 2008 Suzuki tamed it with a broader, mellower powerband similar to the YZ250. Why am I selling? I'm looking to ride more in the woods these days and this bike is definitely more for the track and not the woods. You can reply to Craigslist or text me at 3-One-5-Seven-2-5-Three-5-8-Nine. I'm asking $2399.
