Not sure if i need another sled or not lol can u send me some details and some pics by chance?

As far as parting it goes i dont wanna do that just yet i figure if i dont swap it i can at least still race it the way it is.  However a buddy of mine has a set of long travel housers and pep shocks for a 400ex/250r for sale they need a little work such as a couple ball joints and one shock needs an upper bushing i believe.  Let me know if ur interested and i can try and get ya some pics.  Thanx

Chris

Long travel pep shocks the springs are a little chipped up but work good not exactly sure what they are valved for. They need the upper bushing. Other than that they are in ok shape. The a-arms are a houser plus 2, plus 1 forward the arms are in great condition they just need one upper ball joint and the lowers will need replacing after a little bit. The powder coat is in good condition. The tie rods are straight and the ends are all in great condion. looking to get 350 out of the shocks and 300 out of the a-arms if i seperate them. If they go as the pair looking to get 550 let me know what u think here is his cell number 955-0036 he couldnt get them to send via text sorry.

I dont think he wants to trade really he just wants to move these so he can afford to do some other things to the quad.  I will run it by him but i am pretty sure he would rather just sell them.

Looking to get $2600 without the mx tires and axis rear shock.  I should have updated the post sorry the axis shock has been sold and a stock one reinstalled.   Wanna keep the mx tires for the 450.

Nah sorry cant go that low got over 3 into it would go down another $100 to $2500 the way it is or lower as i take aftermarket stuff off ie axle ( would be replaced with another aftermarket one that has a slight bend and chrome is in bad shape) , bars (replaced with renthal fat bars), and front shocks (replaced with stock ones).  Stock ones sell for $1800 or around there most of the time.

id  throw a  crf or yzf motor in that... or pick up  a  used   jb conversion or something with 400ex  geometry crf/yzf and a motor and run that stock in the meantime...selling a  400ex  can be hard these days,   the trannys  dont  fair  well after a   few  seasons  with a  440 or 465

Thanx for the offer pat and the advice rider we will wait and see what happens I have a pretty good offer on the table for a 450r and if that falls through i will probably just keep the old ex and run her.  I am getting sick of the tire kickers lol.
