We are trying to find an inexpensive 50cc quad for a 5 year old boy. We got a raw deal on one a short time ago and lost quite abit of money on a piece of junk so we need something that runs good and has no problems.

any luck finding a quad for your boy yet? What is your price range and are you looking more for a stocker quad like a polaris, can am, arctic cat... or a race quad like an old DRR or Apex? You do have to be careful on what you buy, but you should be able to pick up something nice and reliable for a reasonable price. The little 50's are damn near bulletproof.

No we  have not found anything yet, we want to get something year 2000 or newer under $500 if possible. He wants a kawasaki or a suzuki but if it runs good it really doesnt matter. He wants to be able to ride at the track with his big brother. He eventually wants to race but he needs to learn first. Do you know anybody that may have something?
