There were a few on Ebay.
I know that there was a bottom end for sale on there.

I bought a bottom end for $400 (shipped) last summer.

ETA: the re-sale value on these bikes is so pathetic that you might be best off just buying a whole bike for dirt cheap. I know that there was one on here a month ago that ended up selling for $2000 (I believe that the original price was up around $3000, but if nobody is paying that price its obviously not worth it).

Keep your eye peeled for someone who needs to sell, low ball them, yank the motor and sell the rest.

Yeah, the one that was on here that sold for $2000 was advertised for a few months I cant believe you never saw it, price kept falling...nobody interested...falling....falling...falling, then it went on ebay and sold for first bid of $2000.

I see them on ebay all the time and every auction either ends at some super cheap price or it ends at "reserve not met" because the seller thinks their **** is worth gold.
There is one on Ebay now http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2007-Suzuki-/150548302255?pt=US_motorcycles&hash=item230d60c9af

He wants $2500....most likely he will not get it. Message him after the auction ends (and he did not get reserve). Buy the bike, yank the motor and sell the rest.

Here is an 06 bottom end, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Suzuki-RMZ450-Engine-Motor-bottom-end-RMZ-450-2006-MINT-/380296652849?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item588b726831
This guy is asking way more than its worth, but he is taking offers.

Why do you want a 05 motor when you could put a much better 07 in? They are the same except for the 07 has bigger valve stems, better cams, and auto timing chain adjustment.

Here you go, its a 2007 only thing you should have to change is the timing chain to use all your 2005 top end stuff on it everything else is the same. $300, needs a crank.

I have a 2006 OEM crank; the rod play is well within specs, I would sell it. Its not difficult to replace a crank, get new bearings for $50 and a gasket set and you are all set. I also have lots of other parts, let me know what you need.
