You cannt purchase any rifle with a collapsable stock in NYS. You can however purchase one yourself and put it on the rifle but then the rifle will still be illegal. However you can purchase a preban AR and do whatever you like with it and be legal in NYS.

Within years I'd say it's a very good chance it will be next to impossible for civilians to purchase any AR15 period, so if you can grab one for the right price, do it up.

Seriously, you have an online post of a weapon that possession of constitutes a felony in NYS, I would delete this post pronto and go get yourself a standard A2 stock for that gun. There are a lot of cops in this state who would have no qualms sending you to prison for 5 years over that stock.
Go visit AR15.com, check out their "equipment exchange" and sell that stock and buy a standard A2 or A1.

Anyone who buys this gun is a fool, its a felony...serious felony, loss of gun rights for life (and good luck finding a good job). Any questions please PM me, I know what I am talking about.

dac is correct.  u can only have a certain number of "evil features" which includes the pistol grip, detach mag, muzzlebrake, stock and so on.  why do you think when u buy a ar from a store in ny that the stock is pinned? u can have a telescoping stock on a shotgun because it doesnt have other features. i havent owned an ar-15 in a few years so im a little rusty on it but i know he is right that it is illegal. i moved up to a   r-25.m:)  ill give you 200 without the stock and mags.
