Don't feel bad I havent either i had a chance at a decent size 6 point but he didnt get any closer then about 400 yards and even though the 270 might have been able to do it i wasnt comfortable and then a week later my 2nd cousin shot him.

that sucks that you didnt get him but at least someone you know did, im not a big rifle fan i always hunt with a 12 guage but we also dont hunt near fields its all in the woods were you cant really get a good shot at anything farther than 45 yards, that and i seem to feel that rifles shot to fare and risk not nowing were or what its gunna hit
