Looking for vintage MX bikes. Let me know what you have. I'm particularly interested in mid 70's RM's, and CR's (elsinore's). Might be interested in the right mid 70's YZ also.

What year is your 490? As I recall when the 1st YZ490's came out they were like putting a hemi 440 on a gocart. superfast motor and evil handling.

i have a 80+% restored 73 hodaka combat wombat 125 mx bike. it has a completely rebuilt motor and trans. it looks very nice and is super original and complete. it has a lot of new stuff and only needs to be finished. This bike goes for 15 to 1800 all day when done but a loss of employment tells me to sell it. i will accept 800 for it. call 315-761-6463 if interested, thanks,, jim.

A combat wombat? That must be awesome looking. I haven't seen one since the 70's. Unfortunately, I'm looking for Honda's, Suzuki's and Yamahas. Unfortunately, I'm also looking for older YZ's, so that's a no for the 91 as well. Thank you very much for your response though. I appreciate it very much.

How about a 1983 Honda CR480, great shape, $1500?

I have extras for it too: sub-frame, sprocket, clutch, plastic, tank stickers, and more.

I am near Rochester, NY.

I have a 1984 CR250, it was running this year but it needs piston and rings. Its all there, everything works, has lots of new parts and is pretty fast. I have another chassis, suspension, swingarm, wheels, plastic, brakes and stuff, would be will ing to let it go pretty cheap. IM me and I will give you my Number if you are interested.

got an 82 yz490 700 and a 1987 yz490 1000 both bikes have a box each of extra parts bearings pistons cables fasteners blah blah both were raced by me long ago both are 100 percent mechanically and about 85 percent cosmetically I am located in rome ny and could supply pictures if you were interested. bear in mind getting pics would require me to unbury them taking an hour each. I have been saving these bikes to serve someone else as they had served me. I cant believe I use to race these. sold my 465 last year to a friend. my friend also has like a 74 tm 100 with about an hour on it. It like brand new but it would be an expensive buy as he would be selling it as a collectors item. good luck. list what you really want to buy I know too many people with old dirtbikes collecting dust LOL
