I have a athena factory kit that was ran for 4 hours and blew cylinder is scored piston is scored looks like the exhaust caught piston ring. selling for parts complete has like new power valves head and insert. cyl can be replated. also I would like feedback as if this has happened to others athena blew me off said I installed wronf but I am sure I didnt. only thing I can think of is the kids didnt warm it up?????? looks like exhaust port is too wide and ring opens and catches it I saw this when I was installing but went with it as dealer said thats how they are. all I know is this poor kid threw 700 into the drain this is an 05 kit.

ps dont flame me please will sell complete or parts

dude athena sucks **** i haqve a 490 kit in my 450 what a piece of **** i emailed them about jetting and no response

Is it the 125 or the 144??  we have a 144 athena kit that has been bulletproof but its the newer one with the one piece head. The older ones with the two piece heads had some o-ring issues... if its the 125 kit i would be interested...how much are you looking to get ??
