cracked vertabray ,punctured lung ,ribs front and back, little bleeding on the brain.. but this is second hand info but pretty relieable

HI ALL THANKS FOR THE GOOD WISHS FOR SHANE.HE WISHS HE DIDNT TRY THAT JUMP.BUT AS WE ALL NO S--T HAPPENS I SAW SHANE MONDAY AFTER WORK,HE IS ON THE MEND BUT IT WILL TAKE A WHILE;LIKE ADAM SAID ALL OF THE ABOVE AND 3 BROKEN VIRTBRI IN THE BA...CK,LITTLE BLOOD ON THE BRAIN...BUT ALL IN ALL STILL BREATHING.I AM TRYIING TO GET TO SEE HIM TONIGHT OR TOMRROW AND WILL KEEP ALL POSTED. DOCTOR SAID THEY HAVE TO GET THE PAIN UNDER CONTROL BEFORE HE GETS A RELEASE DATE...THANKS FOR THE GOOD WISHS!!!!!!

hello,my name is Teresa.I am Shane Brown's fiance.I will keep everyone posted with Shane's recovery as it progresses.He has 3 broken vertebrae,and multiple fracters through out his back.A broken shoulder,broken ribs,had a punctured lung,which they put in a chest tube to release the blood and exspand his lung, and a small amount of blood on the brain.I brought him home saturday.He has a very long road ahead of him.He is in a brace which he will have to wear for 3 to 5 months.The docs are hoping this will keep his spine alined.If Shane does not heal correctly he wll have to have back surgery.He has a doctors appointment thursday,and i will let everyone know how that goes.You may post this message to let all Shanes friends and fellow riders know how hes doing.. "

Well if he was wearing a Leatt and cracked his vertabray, a leatt must not do much in an accident. Anyway, I hope he recovers. This is a sad story.
