2005 Kx250 MOD!! NEED GONE

have a 2005 kx250 2 smoker i need gone FAST. bike is very clean and pictures show it. motor is very strong with new crank bearing. the top half is pulled off because it needs a new piston ($100?) Vforce reeds- the suspension was done by factory connection. has pro circuit suspension link with pipe and silencer. all new bearing (front and rear tire bearings, swingarm bearing, steering bearing) black powdercoated rims with heavy duty spokes. bike is very fast will not be dispointed. need the money and getting out of racing and wanna buy a mod pitbike or i would keep this thing.. it is a great bike and will beat 450s no problem (crazy power) NEED GONE this week and willing to make a great deal with someone and price will reflect because needs a new piston.. And yes 2500 cause it only needs a piston at tops a 100$ and everything is mod don't sit on here and knock my post and be stupid obv someone can see all the time money and effort put into this bike

I sold my worked out 05 for 1600 last year in dallas that needed nothing. It costs 100 bucks to PC a frame, it costs about 50 to have rims PC'd, which will look like absolute crap after a few rides. Aside from the pipe, whats really "mod" about it? The boysen's outperform Vforce alld ay on this particular bike. The PC link is not worth much, And whoever buys it may not dig the revalve FC did. For what its worth, A top end kit from motosport with gaskets is about 160 for this bike, I rebuilt mine a few times. So keep on "dreamin". Jus sayin...

buddy just picked up an 05 rm250 with pipe and all the normal stuff you listing running for 1500, 2500 u might as well spend the 160 to put the piston in it and sell it as a running machine if you dont want low offers, how do we know the crank bearings or seals or even the tranny or clutch is bad, come on man

Probably because he realized an 05 with bolt on parts isnt worth 2500 in not running condition. throw a piston in the damn thing, and you'll get somewhere in the 2-2300 range, 250 smokers are hard to come by in good shape now.

yes this is the bike ur thinking of.. it has a 285 big bore kit in it.. not asking 2500 price went down.. but deff more than 1000

I live in Barneveld and am interested in your bike. What is the status of it now, running, taken apart, etc.? How easily can it be put back to a 250? Thanks.

the bikes itself is all together minus motor sitting in it.. i have to motor out cause was getting frame powdercoated and motor rebuilt.. this is only reason i havent fixed the bike myself cause some ppl want it as a 285 kit and some want as a 250.. the cylinder is off right now just needs the get recoated and piston.. if u want to go back to a 250 i believe u can just sleeve it im not sure.. im just getting outta the sport and trying to buy a truck and want this thing gone..
