1993 YZ125 NOW ONLY $400 now w/ pics

I have a 1993 Yamaha YZ125
I'm unsure what I want to do with it...It was given to me after a family member passed away this spring.

Bike is NOT in prestine condition by any means
It's definitely a project bike. It is in need of new plastic, chain and sprockets, a couple spokes on the rear wheel and prolly more. Thats whats I can tell so far. It ran as recently as spring of 2008 that I know of. I pulled it out of my garge last weekend but it would not start. I am sure with some fresh gas and a new spark plug it will fire up. I will prolly re-try this weekend, and maybe take some pics to post.

Make an offer....if a decent offer comes along then I may just let it go
otherwise I'll just fix it up over time

$400 and its all his...I wanted to get at least $500 but I'll bite on $400

I'll even throw in a set of EVS RS7 Knee braces size MED. They alone retail for over $350. They are a season or two old but they are still in really decent shape and definetly capable of getting you thru a season or maybe even two with plenty of protection. Compared to just a plastic knee cup these braces also offer side to side stability so you don't hyperextend your knee.
If he waits to after this weekend though then I prolly won't include these cause cause I will sell them on e-bay next week for like $75. .I will also toss in a couple pairs of extra goggles I got and maybe more...but I gotta look thru my garage and see if I got anything else to throw in. I'm eager to get it sold this weekend so thats why I'm throwing in the extras

I will be home this weekend from Sat night - Monday. I plan on putting the bike on the side of my road with a 4 sale on it for $500 so let me know before then if he wants it so I don't sell it

Hey sorry for the delay on responding. I've been sick as hell all weekend.  I can get pics posted but I may already have it sold...I should know by this evening if he's going to take it or not, he was suppost to come to my house yesterday but he never showed.  The bike is in somewhat rough shape now so don't picture showroom condition by any means, but with a little bit of time and money this bike is certainly capable of becoming a great old school 125 to rip on!!

If someone wants to commit right now to buy for $400 its all yours....otherwise you can wait and see if this guys buys it tonight or not...if that falls thru I will post some pics in the next couple days. Thanks for the inquiries

I did some googeling today and this bike may actually be a 1994. I'm going to write down the vin# when I get home tonight and find out Tomorrow morning if it is in fact a 1994 and not a 1993. Thanks

The bike is a 1993, 94 at the most. 95 and 96 had blue plastic. This bike has been kept mostly stock, i knew the owner quite well. Gar, the 10th digit should tell you the year, but if I remember correctly, he got this bike when Brian Snyder got his 125 and I had my CR, and it was several years old then. making it about a 93. This bike was never raced, always trail ridden by a great kid who couldnt really ride a wheelie.

Hey brandon you just put a smile on my face about Brian being able to wheelie...he was a great kid! Ya I keep going back and forth about wether to keep this bike or not, but I'd rather see someone else ride this bike and get the same enjoyment Brian did out of it....as opposed to sitting in my garage just waiting for me to have the extra little bit of time or money to get it back up to race shape.
