When i purchased the bike it ran but would not hit the powerband...so what i did was took the motor apart and i had noticed that the cylinder needed to be re-plated and needed a new piston and ring... i just recently bought a cylinder off of ebay which was a 2000 cylinder which  i had professionally honed and is in beautiful condition, but i went to my local shop and the mechanic said that the cylinder was a big bore which in that case i could not use the cylinder because i didnt want to spend the money for an oversize piston...so now i have a 2000 big bore cylider and have no use of it...but i still have the original cylinder and it just needs to be replated and needs a piston and ring. But other than that the motor is all put together with a brand new bottom end gasket kit. Re-plated costs around 125$ and a brand new weisco wth top end gasket kit costs around 140$...so with 265$ the bike will run awsome. I bought the bike for 700$ and i think that the amount of money i put into it i can get atleast 600$ for the bike. The motor currently is not in the frame becasue of myself running out of time and money to fix the bike up.

where are you getting a cylinder re nikasiled for $125?  about the cheapest ive found is $250
