Oh so very sad, we went to Eagle Bridge Sunday and it was closed. They told us it was because of a water problem. I feel terrible about this, our prayers go out to the family.
RIP Dustin.

isnt it required they have a ambulance on scene?  i wouldnt  spend $30-40  a rider   if they cant even  have medical people there, or flaggersno  a water problem?   apparently  there couldnt of been since he was laying in the mud....  i know as riders  we know this can happen ,  its unfortunate  eagle bridge  profits off of us with no regard to our safety,  i dont care  what injuries you got if you  need medical attention  and have to wait  30 minutes for someone to show up    something is wrong,  this wasnt a backyard track.....

We couldn't make Royal tonight but heard Dustin was remembered and honored tonight with a ride.  Sure wish we could have went.  If anyone has the information for funeral services or an address for his family to send condolences, can you please forward it to me.  Thanks.

Jean Diehl? Do you know a Jackie Diehl?

His services are friday in Canajoharie, from like 3-7pm. It was in the recorder either today or yesterday, the full write up will be thursday in the recorder, I'm sure more info will be provided then.

I'm glad they did the lap for him at the races tonight, but was a little upset to see a few guys take off like a bat out of he** for his memorial lap, and one bike guy even crashed over the old finish line table top.

Another quad rider was air lifted tonight during practice, I hope he is OK.

Thanks!  Sad to hear another rider was air lifted out tonight.  What town is the Recorder from?  We live up by Plattsburgh so I'm not familiar with that area.  Sorry I don't know Jackie.

I found it!

If anyone else is itnerested below is the information for services for Dustin and where to make contributions for an educational fund for his siblings in his name.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at the Lenz & Betz Funeral Home, 69 Otsego Street, Canajoharie with the Rev. Kenneth Swain presiding. Burial will follow in the Fort Plain Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited and may call from 3 until 7p.m. on Friday afternoon at the funeral home.

Dustin was a giving individual who always gave others a chance. He unselfishly gave 5 other people the chance of a better life through organ donation. In lieu of any flowers, the family wishes that contributions be made to an educational fund for his siblings, Shyanna Logan or Noah Watson in care of the funeral home office.

Also there will be a "bucket" out at royal mountain in the ski lodge for donations next week again, and whatever is donated will be doubled by royal mountain.
