PLEASE WATCH FOR STOLEN BIKE

Ben LaMay's Yamaha YZ 450F was stolen out of the pro pits at Unadilla this past weekend.  Also, stolen from our trailer was a silver Fly helmet, Leatt neckbrace that had blue DeCal works graphics on the back of it, and an aluminum Yamaha GYTR bike stand. I know of at least 6 or 7 other riders that lost gear bags, gear, helmets, neck braces, VP gas, and a mountain bike.  Also stolen was Willy Brownings CRF 250. I just wanted to ask everyone to keep an eye open for these things, at practice tracks or at the local races.   It had DRD exhaust, black Stomp gripper seat cover, Tag bars, Tag sprockets, Hammerhead starting device on the front fork, RG3 suspension, ASV red and blue levers, blue RG3 triple clamps, and the ignition cover and the clutch cover had been sand blasted, so they look like bare metal, it also has a CV4 aluminum covering under the fuel tank, and extra vent holes in the side number plates, and a MSD ignition.  Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated.  The last 4 digits of the frame number are 8827.

Kind of ticks me off that these guys can't enjoy all the hard work they put into our family sport without some jerk or jerks stealing away there dreams! another thing that gets me is how much we have to spend to have our kids meet and see their favorite riders! $175.00 for a VIP pass in the pits??
Well I was not going to spend that much money for my 7 and 8 year old to meet these guys. My boys would of had the best memories of their lives, but that is way too much money to be a fan that would not steal and would cherrish talking to these pro riders!
So who ever slumped to this level to make it even harder for our young riders to say Hi to there heroes, Thanks!!! You are not true motocross people or deserve to be involved in our FAMILY SPORT!!

This situation is very sad and frustrating!
We met Ben Lamay and his family and so many items were stolen! Bike, stand, gear and accessories: this is ALOT of money that the Lamay's are out. Besides that Ben could only race his practice bike @ Unadilla. Without a race bike......... he cannot race! I am so sorry that people have to resort to stealing!
We also heard that gear and other items were stolen from Mitch Dougherty and Loop.
Let's all keep our eyes and ears open and help catch these culprits!!!
This is a VERY expensive sport and to have some scum bag steal all of this stuff is just plain horrible!!

Good luck to those that had their stuff stolen!!

blehI was on Security duty the next day for Ryan Dungee, and one of his crew said the bike costs 100,000. I wonder if the thief who stole it knows it's a felony.
Not to mention that Lemay is a privateer and allot of that came out of his family's pocket.

I am curious if they think they can advertize on ebay or something. It's not like they can ride it any place, someone would see it and know that it is obviously a pro's bike. I really want to know what is in their head.  Who knows maybe they will put some new plastics on it and claim to have done all the work themselves. Diiiixxxx

wow. sorry to hear this. Hope u find ur bike. and who ever stole it deserves a good *** kickin. seems like something like this is happening every weekend we have a race. im not blaming anyone but we all need to start locking stuff up and not keeping trailers and bikes out. even if were just going to a pit a few sites down. And we also need to start watching eachothers backs for one another. if we see someone we dont think belongs at someones site when nobodys around we need to find the people who are parked there. like i said, sorry to hear for the stolen bike. sucks we have such low life, disrespectful D-bags around that would do this. furious

Oh and By the way guys. KEep an eye out on ebay and on Craigslist for the bike. The first thing they r gonna wanna do is sell it to get rid of the evidence.
