nobody does them for free. go to www.ronhamp.com guy knows his stuff. its 50 bucks, he can give you a better tune for a stock bike, or if you have added an exhaust or if you like to run race gas. he has gotten some pretty impressive hp numbers out of a stock 2010 crf250 with just maping and some MR11 race gas. 39hp out of a stock 250f isnt to shabby. you can also find him on www.thumpertalk.com

no, He has the honda Equipment and can just reprogram yours. Just like with the Kawi's you can buy their program and do the stock ECU

had 09 crf450 since dec 08 and have nt had a prob with bike it was a challenge to get the sag set but after setting that and fiddling with clickers i got it pretty close.Got about 20 hrs on it and had a prob with the decompression plunger,( recall),I would like to have a little more power on top but other than that i ve had no real issues but now i hear of people having fi probs and a few other things. It would be nice if honda dealers would change the mapping so it aint such a pain to start and maybe fix that violent hit down low.
i ve had people at my local track give me stink eye because they think i am hauling ass thru pits, overall i think this bike is a bad ass,as i repeatedly give my buddy a beaten who rides a 07 rmz450 and coming off a steel frame yzf i could nt do that before. I think with anything new there are issues and bikes like this and that wild looking yz450f are the best part of riding/racing motocross.Nowadays there's nothing with these bikes that we can't fix and its only gonna get better in the years to come.Anyways if there is any info about this 09 honda crf450r that anyone can give me to improve its power or reliability i would really appreciate it.

www.thumpertalk.com go under the crf450 forum ask questions and yeee shall recieve. filter through the info you find cuz there are alot of ppl on there that dont know jack, oh and if you have Ron Hamp remap that for you he can take care of that hard starting and he can shift that hit down low up towards mid and top end. best thing you can do is have him remap it for 50 bucks.

just go to his website and get his phone number. I believe he is in cali, not positive. He does a ton of motor work for privateer bikes and most of them you have seen get killer holeshots at ama nationals. I would steer away from some local shops for re-mapping.
