anybody use or have flywheel weight?


i was wondering if anybody has had experiance with a flywheel weight? what type of difference it makes?   I have a yz250. if anybody has one too? any info would be helpful....

I had a 10 oz. weight on a 97' cr 250 and it really smoothed out the power. It kept the bike from stalling in tight corners too. It seems like it gives two strokes bikes more of a four stroke type powerband. I wouldn't go more than 10 oz. unless you are just going to ride the woods.

a flywheel weight is mostly used for woods due to the low rpm's that you use.  I have never heard of manyh motocross racers using it cause of the extra weight

i use one....def. makes the power smoother on the yz...i ordered the gytr one...do some research. factory yamaha used that one on ferry and reeds bike back when they rode 2 strokes.
