yamahas start easier than ANY honda. ive had many, and they are a 5 valve compared to a 4 valve so you dont go through valves nearly as much, less maintenance required. WAY more RELIABLE!! you actually get to spend more time ridind and less wrenching... good luck backfire.

I HEARD IF YOU DIDNT GET THEM TO COMPRESSION STROKE ITLL NEVER FIRE AND YOU'LL KICK AND KICK. MY HONDA YOU KICK ANYWHERES IN THE STROKE IT FIRES ONE KICK. IN NEUTRAL OF COURSE..LOL.. JUST WORRIED IF I CHANGE BRANDS.. THANKS..

I never had an issue with my yamaha, well not since 04, my 01 426 was another story, but that didnt have automatic decompression... you cant go wrong with a newer yamaha in my opinion.... call a dealer that sells all of them and ask them which brand they make the most on fixing and wrenching and which they dont see much of,,, thats probably your best bet.
