i just got a yz250f used(2008-2009???) don't know he said it was a 09 ,but i think it's a 08,running vin # tommorow.


i have a full fmf exhaust 4.1 w/mega bomb header, twin air filter.

fmf says 178 main
               42 pilot
               5th clip
               2 3/8 turns fuel screw



the bike HAS!!   180 main
                            42 pilot
                           TRIED 5th/6th clip from top
                            2 2/8 turns out fuel screw




bike runs great starts first kick hot/cold but...... no residue in pipe pulled plug outside plug black inside where electrode and porcelin is all white/grey.. tried  with 93 and 110 same outcome any help?????

whats the vin number? The 10th digit tells what the year is.. Also the 09's had a black valve cover and the swingarms are different

wish i would have gotten yours .this one i have been working on for 3 days, lots of extra's but looks like a 3 yr old worked on it, every nut/bolt lose  or missing, stupid things like clip for master link, bearings, fuel line, cables,exhaust ,sub frame, wheels,forks etc EVERYTHING . everytime i check something its wrong. hope i have it together for sunday. thanks

Yeah but once you get it all worked out (granted the only thing different is a high comp. piston) youll have a year newer bike. I hope everything works out for you!

sent you a pm. not gonna name name and bash he is just a kid, probably didn't know what he was doing, and my fault should have brought tools with me and checked everything. oh well will be sweet just  like my yz 250 was when im done ...

get a FMF power up kit esp if you have a aftermarket system on it there cheap (40.00) on motosport.com
