2008 YAMAHA YZ 250f

2008 Yamaha YZ 250f
$3200 or BO

Stock Engine, Jardine Performance RT99 Exhaust system, ProTaper EVO bars (Windham/RM mid bend), ProTaper hand guards, Fresh Fork Seals.

Info:
Until recently, when I sold my 450, this bike was mainly only raced from the time it was purchased in late 2008 and through last year.  As of right now this is my main bike, however, I have raced and rode very little so far this season. I'm selling it to make room for a new 350. I will continue to ride and maintain this bike until it is sold or my new bike arrives.

For info:

If I still have the bike, and the weathers not crappy, I will likely have the bike at Thornwoods practice on Thursday if anybody wants to check it out.

I should also be able to get some new pictures tomorrow.

2500 will not take it. I prefer talking price once the bike has actually been looked at in person.

actually people throw out offers to see if it is possible to pay that much for the bike before evan considering the bike. Many people say yes or negotiate with you the you try to look at the bike. IF YOU KNEW ANYTHING ABOUT SELLING **** OR BUYING IT YOU WOULDNT PUT A STUPID ASS POINTLESS COMENT LIKE THAT!!

bike is worth $2500, but will sit on it for 3k,just look at all the deals on here. 4 strokes are like ferrari's everybody wants one untill they break$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ buying a used 4 stroke is like putting your "putter" in a bee hive you never know when you are going to get stung but you know you will.

the more you ride the less it's worth

the more it sits the older it is and the less its worth   CAN'T WIN!!!!!!!

2 strokes last forever...............................................................................

good luck kid it looks nice though......

Couple more notes:

+ Just to give an idea of how much time this bike actually has on it. This bike still has the STOCK chain and sprocket. And there is still time left on them (I do have new sprockets that will be given when the bike is sold). My 2006 450 was my main bike.

+ I've only ridden the bike 3 times since memorial day. I have have a fresh rear tire waiting to go on the bike.

+ To give you an idea how I maintain my bikes... My 2006 YZ450 sold in spring for $2800. This bike doesn't even have 1/4 the time that bike had and has been maintained just as well.

sorry i don't know you im sure you take care of your bikes,BUT four strokes are built to run REGAURDLESS of maintanence for a short period of time. and IF one doesn't take car of valves, oil, filter, airfilter, they have a even shorter life span!!!! thats all im saying.

4 strokes cost more new and you get less when you sell them old because YOU and I and EVERBODY KNOWS... they cost a lot to fix when they go up. and they all go-up reguardless of what you did to it.  If you cannot agree on that you are lieing to yourself and me. 09's are going for $3000. if you pay $7-$8000 for bike new why after ONE season do people sell for $3000 because they need to be rebuilt for $1,500-$2,000.

Take the $2,500 and run

to ask if a price is acceptable before looking at it is to determine if might be in a certain price range. if not ,,,on to the next...

As a voucher. Ryan and his family have been know by me for over 20 years. They take rediculous care of everything they own. It is as clean as it looks.. Ryan's father runs coemotion suspension and have been in mx for almost 30 years..This particular bike is super clean...no worries !!!

Sorry, I already have a new bike. Not really looking for trades.

Only bikes I would possibly consider for trades are 2008+ YZ250 or KTM 250SX 2 strokes.

I will have the bike with me at Thornwood tomorrow, if anyone wants to check it out. The bike will be staying right in the back of my truck however... no test rides unless there is cash in hand. I'll only be riding my 350.
