just cut them down the center with a utility blade or use a aircompressor to blow them off....

Can stick a long skinny screwdriver between grip and handle bar, then spray into grip with brake clean or wd40 and grip comes right off.

I've found on new bikes you need a wire wheel to get the grips off, they are vulcanized onto the bar. Just be careful on throttle tube, go nuts if you want on the clutch lever side if you want first to get a feel for it.

Grips have lots of old glue on them...Any chemicals work?
