got a bike all thanks got a 2010 kx 65 for a grand thank you to the guy that called me from on here and gave me a smoking good deal. Bike has super wide pegs with asv levers and perch, lowering lionkage and extra filters nice fresh motor starts 2nd kick when cold. super cool graphics that add 2 hp. and new looking plastic dual compound grips wired to bars. i had to lower the bike though. Pulled shock apart and inserted a brass spacer to limit shaft extension and dropped forks in trees. also It hads a fancy clutch are slippers legal in the 65 class? and also is it legal to cut the soldered sfatey wired head nuts on a procircuit engine? It has a procircuit engine but looks like they sfatey wired the head and jug nuts so you cant get into engine with out destroying the solder button encasing the saftey wire. i am unfamilair with this? also they arent guaranttedd anyways correct? just thinking ahead for when I refresh it. Also the carb looks like it has inserts in the thraot part that goes into boot on engoine and another inseret where it goesinto airbox? whats they difference? the black box ahs so dip swithces and they dont look like they are stock is anyone familar with this stuff?

Is 1000 for a 2010 a good deal i think it is they kid raced it for 2 years but looks and feel like his dad took care of it. i am talented and motorcycle repair and stuff. and all the bearings seemed fine. the swing arm bearings were all great with fresh blue grease with no darkening or discolor and were the head bearings. they shock mounts hiems and bushing are as new but the shock shaft may have gotten hot as its blue. wierd the entire shaft is blue almost liek someone clolored it or anodized it but its steel and you can anodize steel so i ma guessing maybe it got hot and the fork tubes too.

whats your thoughts did I do good getting a 010 for 1000 or is that average? what do 65 cc bikes go for brand new? my son is new to this sport anf figured a kx would be ok a season, then get a cobra?>???? some guy told me If I love my son to get a cobra, well i do love him but couldnt find a cobra n he told me I over paid for the kx, he said they r 1200 new but seems like I see used ones for 1500 or so>? is that cause they are modified?
