You would be better off going to someone Local like shockaholic.. When u new something on short notice or need help a local guy will help u vs sending it away to some big company where ur just another dollar. And local guys know what u need for tracks around here

if you get it done local, not only will you save $150 in shipping, but they can help fine tune it. FC or RG3 is not showing upp to frozen to help set your sag..

I can say I have used local suspension people in the past and Pro Circuit and there is NOBODY that even comes close to Factory Connection's suspension.

I get no discount and pay full retail so there is no B.S. here from me. For me there isn't anybody else I will ever use. With that being said, plan on around 800.00 for the revalve.

Try FTI in North Carolina, call and ask for Cal. Nascar susp. guy for years and has had a fork and shock dyno before everyone else. He ships you your stuff set up for you. The sag is almost spot on out of the box. Have had b kit FC and his stuff is as good or better and cheaper too.  FTI.com

If you want the closest to works suspension then pony up 10k and order yourself a works oversize A kit. None of the "in house internals" are going to feel like an oversized fork or shock, Period. What I think everyone is trying to say about staying local is if you go to the track and realize the revalve is not what you want and the person who did it is there they can see it and change it accordingly. The FC guys in new hampshire arent driving down to ny for one rider and they wont be paying the shipping to have it sent back for a revalve.

factory connection is the way to go.ya u can have the local guys do it but it doesnt compare to a company that does so much r&d.sent my susspension to fc and would never send it to another company.all comes downt to how much you really want to spend.

i gotta sponsorship threw mb1 and thats who i sent it to this year. it will be 2 weeks tomorrow and still no susp and there in PA.really getting frusterated exp with this great riden weather here. i delt with factory conn for years and never had any complaints, also they have a great turnaround i could have sent it to them 2 or 3 times and would have had it back quicker than mb1. so id say factory conn is the way to go!!!!

There's a lot to be said about having a Shocko work on you suspension. His track side help is unbelievable and he really knows his stuff. He's at the track to help you get dialed in. When you send your stuff to the big box companys, the only info you give them to help you set up is : rider weight, and experiance level. That's all they have to go on when they do a reshim. Having some one watch your bike as you ride the track and then suggest some set up changes is a real bonus. Anyone can reshim a fork/shock valve. I do all of my own after Andy initally gives me the set up. It's all about piece of mind and trackside service for us. Call the shock Doc.

I'm glad this question was asked.

The suspension on our modern bikes today, really works great with good oil in them.  The OEM oil that is used in the KYB and Showa is break-in oil. When I take the units apart, my shop smells like a fish fry! Not really knowing it's fish oil, but sure smells like it.  So with that, after 5-7 hrs, break in the springs, change the oil, then every 20 hours you should at least change your suspension oil. With the hour meters today that should'nt be a problem.

Don't use aftermarket seals. I have only came across one  aftermarket seal that works better than OEM.  It's SKF seals. They work really good on the Kawasaki DLC coated forks. They are a few dollars more, but worth it.

Re-valve or not.  Are your springs the right one's for your weight?  Do you know what too much/little compression do? Have you played with your rebound settings? can you feel any difference?  Take notes. Have you had your suspension serviced?    Riders feel they need a re-valve, but if you can't answer the above questions then you need to do some home work. why waste your money sending stuff out when you can't tell what you like and dis-liked about your suspension.

Be honest. when setting up your bike, your true weight matters. Don't say I joined a gym and I'm going to be 20 lbs less in 6 months. So you'll be bottoming out wallowing through stuff when you should'nt be.

Tell the suspension company what you like and don't like about your suspension. Are you a mid-last pack am rider, or a top 5 placer every week.

Who ever you send your suspension to, and for some reason you don't like it, call them first.  Let them make it right.

As always, ride smart, be safe, have fun.

deffinetly dont go with mb1 it took me 2 and a half weeks to get it and there only in pa. they said on there site they have the quickest turn around!!!wrong. they also charged me for a rear shock spring and they didnt install 1. the guy said they sometimes forget to send the old ones back but that wasnt the case cause the old one was still on my shock so they beat me for 110 bucks the f***ers. so it looks like my future susp will be going to factory conn. only went with mb1 due to sponsorship

How can u really tell if u got a revalve. I send mine folk to Pro Action. There send back all the old parts. But not the old valves

The 'valve' is a round piston with port holes in it. did you get one of those back? Pro-Action has their valving system, which they install thier own pistons and re-shim it to you. I never heard one way or another if they gave them back or not, I would call and ask.

As far as knowing, you should feel a difference.

I only heard of a guy out in the midwest charging for "revalving" and only changing the oil. He was brought up on grand larceny charges.
