85Hrs, have you replaced the crank?  Was it still in spec at the last top end?  When were the valves done last and is there still room for shims or are they maxed out?

Valves have not closed at all since New, I made a fine shim adjustment to the exhaust valves just because I am picky and wanted them to have same clearance.( i almost even ground  .001" off shim to make them perfect since shims only come in .002" increments and most manufacturers give you a .003" tolerance to maintain).  I didnt even question the fact of replacing crank, It didnt even need the piston. But yes I did check for play by titling connecting rod side to side. Indicator didnt even move .0005" good to go. 85 hours of respectful use, and rarely ever touched rev limit. And I can gurantee its never had spec of dust thru my No toil filter maintenance. wiped out inside of air boot every ride  with papertowel and degreaser never had single trace ever come thru. My Filter maintenance and staying away from rev limit has never gave me a lick of problems on any four stroke Ive owned
